For example, let's say you charge $50/hr for phone support. John from Company A, a customer of yours, calls you with a problem and you discuss it for 10 minutes. To solve the problem, you make a call to Jane from Company B, and discuss it with her for 10 minutes. Finally, you call John back and spend 5 minutes to tell him the issue has been resolved. After each call, or at the end of the entire process, you bill Company A for a total of 25 minutes with just a few taps on your phone. The next invoice that goes out will bring in an additional $20.83 that you wouldn't have had otherwise. Watch the included video for a quick demonstration of this process.

Notes for the tech savvy:
This app does not phone home in any way. All communication is directly between your device and your configured back-end service providers. Best practices are strictly followed when storing/retrieving/syncing data.
Here is a full explanation of all required permissions (we know there are a lot, but they are all absolutely necessary to give our customers the best possible experience):
READ_CONTACTS - We link billed call records to contact IDs in the call log in order to properly sync information between your phone and your invoicing provider (and avoiding duplicate entries). We would not be able to access your call log without this permission, and that is one of the primary features that make our app useful. We do not use contact information for any other purpose but retrieving your most recent calls, listing them, and allowing you to select calls to bill.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - We use this permission to set sync scheduling on boot and for providing the "Bill customer?" notification feature after a call (both optional).
USE_CREDENTIALS, GET_ACCOUNTS, MANAGE_ACCOUNTS, AUTHENTICATE_ACCOUNTS, READ_SYNC_SETTINGS, WRITE_SYNC_SETTINGS - We rely completely on Android's built-in syncing functionality to reliably sync your information to/from your invoicing provider according to Android best practices. We use it to generate tokens from the built-in authentication manager for security reasons, allowing us to communicate with your invoicing provider on your behalf without needing to know your login information. This also ensures your information is stored in a safe place that cannot be accessed from other apps. We can only communicate with the back-end sync providers we manage (i.e. we can't access the Facebook sync provider provided by another application).
INTERNET - Access to the internet is required in order to sync with your invoicing provider, as well as other optional features that you may or may not use (like tweeting about how useful CallTab is, which we hope you will! We never tweet or share anything on your behalf without you explicitly choosing to do so from a menu).
