IBM Sametime for Android provides access to IBM's award-winning platform for Social Communications on today's hottest Android devices, now with phone and tablet support. **** REQUIREMENT: The IBM Sametime Mobile Client for Android devices does not connect directly to a Sametime Community Server. The Sametime 8.5.2 IFR 1 Proxy Server must be deployed in your infrastructure environment in order for the Android Sametime client to work. Check with your IT department to see if this is the case. You will need to obtain the Sametime proxy server address and port to configure the client. After installing the application enter the proxy server address in the server field in the format :, then enter your Sametime credentials and select the Next button.
