Truckers, this app is for you!. This application contains a listing of weigh stations within the United States, searchable by state, then highway, followed by a description of each station. Additionally, the app contains a feature which each trucker can record the status of each station. IS THE STATION OPEN? When you pass thru a particular station, you can record that it is open or closed. This will inform the trucks down the highway behind you. ARE YOU APPROACHING A STATION? you can locate the station within the app and check on the status because the truckers who just passed thru the station has updated the station's status.
The status feature can only work if thousands of truckers are using it. That is why the weigh stations app has been created as a stand-alone FREE app. This data and feature is part of another PAID app called Truck Stops and issued thru Truxster.
